Thank you 100 Women Who Care
Dear Members of 100 Women Who Care,
Hand in Hand of Glynn is so proud and grateful to be the recipient of your summer vote. We promise to be good stewards of your money, put it to good use carefully and thoughtfully.
After talking to some of the founders of 100 Women Who Care, it was decided to earmark the $20,450 toward the kitchen in the community center. The kitchen needs a total makeover with flooring, ceiling repairs, cabinetry and appliances. We are not going to use the kitchen to feed our residents like a soup kitchen, they all will have their own kitchens in their homes; (we want our residents to learn independence and self sufficiency). We will use the kitchen for special events in the community center, for catered dinners, or other hospitality needs for groups.
As much or even more important than the money you have blessed us with, is the fact that now over 200 more women now know of our mission. You will be able to answer questions in the community and in a sense be an additional advocate for us. That is worth more than money can buy.
